Blaze Pioneer Pod is a multi-level learning pod serving students in Grades 1-8. Blaze Pioneer Pod students are led by experienced teachers providing rigorous academic instruction in the core subjects of English/Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science. Additionally, our students have access to instruction in Spanish, Keyboarding and Cursive Writing.
Our Blaze Pioneer Pod learners have daily opportunities to apply their learning through hands-on experiential learning both in the classroom as well as in the great outdoors on our 96-acre ranch. Additionally, our students regularly take their learning out into the local community.
With a strong commitment to cultivating service-minded students of virtuous character, Blaze Pioneer Pod hosts three weeks of service learning per academic year. These weeks are all about providing substantive academic instruction through service to our local community and the natural environment around us.
Blaze Pioneer Pod meets daily Monday - Friday from 10a-3:30p for instruction in the core academic areas mentioned above. Many of our students use the early morning hours to pursue other personal endeavors such as highly competitive athletic training, pursuing excellence in the arts, tutoring in specific academic areas, or to advance other personal interests.
We are currently exploring additional morning electives to serve our students.
Blaze Pioneer Pod’s "home base" is on a ranch nestled between Bee Cave and Dripping Springs, located just 10 minutes from Hill Country Galleria.
